05LiveEncrypted messaging — SaaS

CubeConvo

Your company's chat, on your terms.

Locked group chat with voice and video, built on the Signal protocol and made to hold 100,000 people online at once.

Open CubeConvo

Make a room and send a message.

The problem

Company talk spread across chat apps somebody else owns, on somebody else's server, with no way to say who may read what.

What we built

Made to fit how they already work.

Locked messages

Real-time

Voice & video

Rooms & invites

Tested properly

Built to scale

Locked on the device

Messages are encrypted before they leave the phone. Keys are handled properly — the server never sees plain text.

Real-time that holds up

A separate chat server, apart from the website, with Redis passing events between every copy of it.

Voice and video calls

Calls run directly between people inside a room, with presence, typing indicators and reactions.

Rooms, invites and guests

Invite links, join requests, passwords, bans, admin roles, and guests who only see what they are allowed to.

Tested where it matters

Automated tests for 15 guests decrypting at once, for reconnecting after a drop, and for what a new joiner can read.

Built for scale from day one

Caching, rate limits, message lists that stay fast at thousands of messages, and a warning when a query gets slow.

What the business gets

Locked rooms you control, with voice, video and file sharing — and the messages are sealed on the phone before they leave it.

Messages only you can read

Sealed on the phone before they leave it. The server never sees them.

Calls in the same place

Voice and video inside each room — no second app.

You decide who reads what

Invites, join requests, roles and bans, room by room.

Works as an app

On the phone in their pocket.

Runs in any browser, on a phone or a laptop — nothing to install and nothing to update.
